As a fulltime Senior Backend Architect, you will be a part of our dynamic and innovative technology team, driving the design and development of our backend systems.

Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of our backend architecture, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Kotlin code.
Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure APIs.
Drive the migration of legacy systems to Kotlin, ensuring minimal disruption to existing services.
Leverage AWS cloud services to optimize system performance and reliability.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members.
Proactively identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose ways to apply them to our systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development and architecture.
Proven experience with Kotlin development and Kotlin code.
Experience with migration of systems, preferably to Kotlin.
Solid understanding of backend architecture principles and best practices.
Proficiency in AWS cloud services.
Experience in API development, with a focus on building scalable and secure systems.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for tackling complex technical challenges.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong team player, with a commitment to excellence and a passion for creating high-quality, efficient, and scalable backend systems.
