Lean Innovation Manager - Great Opportunity

Responsibilities:

  • Cost Reduction Strategy.
    Develop a project lean innovation strategy to reduce the time and cost of project delivery through reliable workflow, just-in-time material delivery, innovative planning, scheduling and coordination practices, and the development of other lean and innovation practices.
  • Team Development and Lean Culture.
    Work effectively with the Customer, Project Director, Construction Executives, Trade Partners and the larger project team to support the development of a lean and innovative culture and high performance in all aspects of the project team function.
  • Last Planner System.
    Oversee a robust implementation of the Last Planner System, including serving as the master coach, developing additional on-site coaches, facilitating critical training and implementation events (e. g. Boot Camps, Phase Planning Sessions, Weekly Work Plan sessions) and supporting the establishment of all aspects of the Last Planner System.
  • 5S.
    Support the project team in developing a strategy, game plan and roles and responsibilities for engaging Trade Partners in the successful implementation of a 5S program to ensure just-in-time material delivery, best-in-class material handling, and an impressively clean job site throughout the duration of all scopes of work.
  • Project Standard Work.
    Support the project team in documenting the project s standard work in an accessible format, to support onboarding of new Team Members and Trade Partners, maintain consistency and reliability of work processes (including administrative, financial, operational and talent processes).
  • Continuous Improvement.
    Support the project team in Rapid Process Improvements or Kaizen Events to improve process outcomes.
  • Structured Problem-Solving.
    Support the project team to implement a structured problem-solving process to identify and eliminate the root cause of recurring problems (abnormal conditions).
  • Innovation.
    Support the project team in developing innovative solutions to pressing problems, and develop rapid prototyping processes to develop and field test new ways of working to create value for the customer and the team.

Qualifications

EY SKILL:

  • Experience in Lean, Quality or another functional role which requires influence rather than authority to achieve change.
  • Knowledge of and experience developing and implementing Lean (Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence) practices and approaches.
  • Ability to effectively interface and facilitate lean concepts with customers, designers, engineers, trade partners, and other business partners.
  • Adaptive, effective communication and active listening skills
  • Excellent problem solving and detail oriented innovation skills
  • Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, and inclusive behaviors
  • Strong cross-cultural relationship building and influencing at all organizational levels
  • Proven track record of including diverse team members when assigning challenging and high-profile tasks

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience using lean methodology
  • Construction industry experience required
  • Experience, coursework or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence or Supply Chain is a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
